Marsida Bandilli's Bio:

Marsida Bandilli is in the process of finishing her PhD at the University of Antwerp, Belgium. She is writing on stakeholder's involvement with the cross-border cooperation programmes of the EU. Nevertheless she has wider interests including: the Europe2020 Strategy, the European integration and accession concerning Western Balkans countries, EU policies and politics in overall etc. She holds a MSc Degree in Political Theories from the University of Tirana with a Summa Cum Laude recognition. In the same university she held the assistant professor position in the Department of Political Science. Marsida Bandilli is very well embedded with debates concerning the future of Europe, in Brussels. She is an inspirational speaker and someone who is very fond of the representation of young people in policy-making at European levels. She writes for the Huffington Post and various blog channels. Due to her work she was awared with two prices: the Active Citizens of Europe from Volonteurope organization in 2014 and the Personality of the Year for the European Democratic Citizenship Awards in 2015. In overall, Marsida is an active, committed member of many networks and organisations all over Europe. Being an ambassador of her country, she mirrored the best qualities such as: determination, passion and dedication to her work. Many people and venues have contributed to shape her leadership personality. I am a big traveler. I love traveling because it energizes me a lot. I'm a fan of airports, trains and bikes. I like to always meet with new people and to discover new cultures. Rather than that, I have never been out of Europe. I love reading and writing. One of my biggest passions has been dancing: just take me to the dance floor, I never stop.
